I sell it so I'm a little biased BUT I would recommend the Organizing Utility Tote. I used one as a diaper bag BEFORE I started selling it so I loved it before it paid to love it. A lot of the women in my church use the Organizing Utility tote for diaper bags. I also used the Cindy tote for awhile since I was a FTM (first time mom) that overpacked for everything. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/88/7f/f7/887ff7c42768ca8d2612a25c95d9522e.jpg
Thirty One is already the go-to source for durable and stylish totes, backpacks, purses, home decor and now baby––and all with the ability to be personalized. The new baby line isn’t just for families with infants. Sure, there are some seriously adorable diaper bags, bottle thermals, baby caddies and even whimsical pillow designs for the nursery. But it’s also for those of us with big kids too! https://i.pinimg.com/236x/c7/2c/c7/c72cc733fbe8f93d1704aff783c570e7--blue-delphinium-delphiniums.jpg
A tip that I wish I had figured out a lot sooner… cosmetic bags are a GREAT “rectangular” size to hold a few diapers and a small wipes pack, plus some other small items (WetWipes, etc). I have several of these diaper “clutches”… they can easily go in and out of our larger diaper bag, and I keep one in each car. I like them a lot better than the true “diaper clutches” that are sold – I don’t need something bulky/fancy that folds out into a changing pad, etc! I have found good size bags at WalMart and Harmon. https://i.pinimg.com/345x/79/bd/26/79bd260784749f6ad72b312cf61db1a2.jpg?b
The diaper bag is one of the most important baby essentials for a prepared parent. Once you leave the house, you will need to bring a ton of supplies like diapers, baby wipes, a changing pad, snacks, baby bottles, burping cloths, pacifiers, lotions, diaper rash creams, cloth diapers, and a change of clothes. Plus don't forget your own stuff, like our wallet, phone and keys! The good news is that there are hundreds of baby diaper bags on the market designed to make your life much easier. The bad news is that some of them aren't so great, and some of them are downright ugly! Here is our full diaper bag buying guide.
The Duo, which has been sold since 2003, has been a longtime best-seller from a company that makes almost two dozen different diaper bags. Just about every retailer we visited—chains, boutiques, and consignment stores, plus online retailers—carried this bag. Parents can pick from a dozen neutral or bold, graphic prints, and on some colors the interior is made of a light-colored fabric so that you can easily see what’s inside (not all diaper bags have gotten the memo on this).
Aside from features and functionality, preferences and personal style will definitely attract some people to the B.F.F. The look of this bag is simply more suited to some people than the Skip Hop. And having tested both side by side, we consider each a good value. But let’s be honest, if you are ready to pay nearly $200 for a diaper bag, you’re probably not considering this against the Skip Hop. If it were our money, we’d rather buy this than one of the other similarly priced bags out there. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/79/77/9c/79779c62d727ebb44b3f2c7e51ba9c2a--direct-selling-rodan-and-fields.jpg
This is an enormous and stylish black vegan leather diaper bag with every pocket, compartment, and nook and cranny you need to make for a perfect journey with your baby! In our testing, this designer baby diaper bag received the most attention from other moms - every time we used it we got comments about how nice it is and questions about where we found it. And we were not surprised given just how nice this bag is. It is designed as a large tote, coming in at about 19" wide, 13" high, and 7" deep, meaning that it has nearly a full cubic foot of space inside, which is really cavernous! And it's not just inside space that makes this diaper bag amazing, it's also the two zippered outside pockets and the five additional outside pouches that are perfect for quick access to baby wipes, bottles, pacifiers, and the included changing pad (using the large back outside pocket). There is an amazing lined pocket on the front that can be used for anything wet - like a wet bathing suit or clothing, while keeping the rest of the bag and its contents dry. It also has two insulated pockets on the inside that are perfect for keeping a bottle or snack chilled during a trip, and a ton of additional space that is perfect for holding a nursing cover, blanket, change of clothes, and more. The changing pad comes with a little travel pouch that's the right size for a diaper and wipes when you want something to quickly bring with you to the changing table. It also includes a shoulder strap that you can use to carry it across your chest, and it also includes stroller straps to help you attach it to your stroller (but be careful with that!). We loved nearly everything about this black faux leather diaper bag, and thought it was an amazing addition to this year's diaper bag buying guide. The Honest Company also makes a backpack version of this bag, called the Honest Company City Backpack Diaper Bag, for about the same price, that is worth checking out if you prefer that style. Downfalls? Well if we're being really picky, the zippers were finicky sometimes, and the tote straps were a good size for holding with your hand or forearm but not quite big enough to put on your shoulder. But those are relatively minor points that are about our subjective experience. But one big challenge with this bag is the price, coming in at around $150 or so which seems expensive for a faux leather diaper bag. If you love the styling but want to save some cash, check out the Skip Hop Chelsea Downtown Chic Diaper Bag that has a very similar look and functionality but is a little bit smaller and only about half the price. To figure out how big of a baby diaper bag you'll need, put some thought into how many things you'll want to be carrying around. It's not just for baby diapers and baby essentials (dont' forget nipple cream, lotions, baby sunscreen, and maybe even one of the smaller best breast pumps), but the baby bag will also be responsible for holding the contents of your purse unless you plan on carrying both the baby bag and your purse around all day (which we don't suggest!). So that means you'll want to make sure the baby diaper bag is big enough to hold all of the baby essentials along with things like your wallet, keys, lip balm, tissues, makeup, sunglasses, and anything else you carry around in your purse on a daily basis. Otherwise it's not really about finding the right diaper bags for moms, it becomes more about shoving in all the baby stuff and leaving mom's things behind! https://i.pinimg.com/236x/69/53/cf/6953cf980705b09f31df901c7eb882e0--thirty-one-thermal-my-thirty-one.jpg
So why buy an actual diaper bag? They’re thoughtfully designed with right-size pockets for essential baby gear, and made with tough material that’s easy to clean—inevitably, milk or juice will spill inside, and crushed crackers will find their way into crevices. Mine has been tossed around in my car, dumped on park benches and dragged across wet grass. I once accidentally left a banana peel in it for a few days. “The diaper bag is for the diapering years,” said Meg Collins, founder of Lucie’s List, a blog that recommends essential baby products for new parents. “It’s meant to keep you organized and sane. You have go-to pockets for your keys, diapers and wipes. You don’t have to think or fumble.” That just may help you escape the house a little more quickly.
Our assortment of diaper bags features options to suit every caretaker’s preference, including totes, messenger bags, shoulder bags, and backpacks. There are totes that feature bottle coolers, changing mats, wet bags, and other organizational compartments. Whether you’re looking for a spacious baby bag that attaches to a stroller, a designer style that can double as a purse, or a more compact on-the-go version that works for quick trips in and out of the car, you’ll find tons of options for carrying baby essentials at Amazon. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/18/6a/0f/186a0f79be6aac31a396918cd7e55794.jpg
Packing for your baby’s first overnight trip to Grandma’s is easier when you’ve got a jumbo-sized diaper bag to tote all that extra gear in, and the Arrows Weekender is the biggest diaper bag we’ve found, measuring 19" x 15" x 6". (The dimensions make it a great choice for cloth-diapering parents, too!) There are two deep exterior pockets and four interior pockets. https://i.pinimg.com/280x280_RS/96/4a/5a/964a5a49960970b912d14853596d41b4.jpg
The Skip Hop Duo Signature, at 1¾ pounds, was one of the more lightweight bags we tested, yet it felt sturdy and durable despite being shoved, tossed, and dragged around at the beach, on a 5-hour plane ride, and to the pediatrician’s office. Like the better bags we considered, it can be carried multiple ways: An adjustable, padded strap is comfortable to carry on a shoulder, and its tote handles make it easy to set down on a floor (like the best bags we saw, it stands upright). The secret to its superior accessibility is a perfect combination of open and zippered pockets—it’s the most intuitive and effortless bag we saw for stowing and retrieving water bottles and toys at a moment’s notice, it can keep valuables secure, and it’s clear what goes where in the bag. A wipeable polyester interior is straightforward to clean; within five minutes we removed all evidence of spilled milk and crushed Cheerios left in the bag for 24 hours. With a strong rating across more than 1,000 Amazon user reviews, it’s extremely popular, and at its current price of about $50 to $60, it’s one of the most affordable bags we tested—plus, it has better overall features than other competitors we tested in its price range. https://i.pinimg.com/280x280_RS/b0/de/b7/b0deb796f6dfdcb4b84134105bff6e55.jpg

This is an awesome backpack-style diaper bag that is stylish, durable, convenient, comfortable, and feature-rich. It's a medium-sized diaper bag that you can carry has a hand-tote or as a diaper bag backpack. It has a modern gender-neutral style, helped by the heather gray color, the leather accents, the asymmetrical front pocket, and its vintage style button. It's the sort of bag that both mom and dad will be willing to wear, making it one of the only unisex diaper bags on our list. And it has some great features. First, we loved the side baby bottle exterior pockets, the zippered wipe dispenser on the side, and the hidden pocket on the back (up against your back) that can hold valuables without the risk of pick-pocketing. That's great if you live in the city, or travel to urban areas where that's an issue (like on the subway!). We also liked the substantial padding against the back, to keep things comfortable for longer excursions. It also includes stroller straps on the sides, though we warn you to be careful about attaching diaper bags to strollers due to the tipping hazard. In that regard, it's definitely a good size for throwing into the stroller's bottom basket, but still big enough to hold most of your stuff. Speaking of size, the main compartment is really quite large and is divided well into a mesh pocket area, a zippered pocket, and elastic pockets for holding smaller items. We were able to fit everything necessary into the bag without any issues. It's great to have a nicely divided main compartment, to prevent things from sinking down to the bottom and remaining elusive in your desperate search for that last clean pacifier! We also want to point out that this company is very responsive to customer concerns. This is their third version of this great diaper bag, with improved stitching and reinforcements based on customer feedback (and if you have the older version with an issue, you can email them and they'll send you the newer one for free!). And the price is right too, coming in around $40. So, if you're looking for the comfort and convenience of a backpack, this is a great option! Note that we also checked out the HapTim Multifunction Large Baby Diaper Bag Backpack, which is very similar and very highly recommended. Interested? Do you like the SkipHop Grand Central, but think it's a bit too pricey? Then this tote diaper bag is definitely the next-best option for you. This awesome diaper bag, the SOHO Grand Central, is similarly styled with some very similar functionalities, but at about half the price. While the SkipHop has most features integrated right into the bag, this one takes a different approach and has them as separate pieces. There's a separate zippered and insulated baby bottle bag, a separate diaper clutch (for disposable or cloth diapers, of course!), changing pad, toiletries bag, and a little wallet. It has 5 different little bags for various things, it took a while to figure out what it was all about. But once we did, we loved it. Being able to take everything out separately is a different style, but we got used to it and ended up liking it. Going to the register at Starbucks? Just bring the wallet part. Going to a bench to bottle feed? Just bring the bottle pouch. It made some sense, and also made cleaning a bit easier when you can wash each part separately. Like the SkipHop it has zippered front pockets, convenient side exterior pockets for pacifiers, and is overall about the same size as the SkipHop, though the opening did stretch a bit wider overall. It includes some stroller straps, which are a nice touch, though definitely use caution with a heavy diaper bag to prevent the stroller from tipping over backwards. The quality isn't quite on par with the SkipHop, especially in terms of the inner liner, seams, and zippers, but we thought at about half the price it deserved a high spot on our best diaper bags list. Highly recommended! Interested? Check out the SOHO Grand Central diaper bag here. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/df/1b/89/df1b894113d35ca669540aa55645b98b--la-boutique-poppies.jpg
